Ukraine Drone Strikes Halt 40% of Russian Western Oil Export Capacity
Ukrainian drone strikes have knocked offline approximately 40% of Russia's western oil export capacity by targeting all three major western export ports. Russia's oil export revenue had climbed to its highest level since the early weeks of the full-scale war before the strikes disrupted shipments. Bloomberg reported the damage has forced Russia to reroute exports through longer eastern routes at higher cost. Meanwhile, Russia lost 1,040 troops in the past 24 hours according to Ukrainian General Staff figures, with cumulative losses exceeding 1.3 million personnel since February 2022.
